The DermaHarmony 10% Benzoyl Peroxide or BPO (non-soap) Cleansing Bar was specially formulated for individuals with acne. This bar is intended for use on mild to moderate acne and may be used in conjunction with other acne treatments as directed by your healthcare provider. Benzoyl peroxide (BPO) works by reducing the amount of acne-causing bacteria and causing the skin to dry and peel when applied to the skin.

BPO is effective for mild pustules. The product is a single 4 oz bar with an active ingredient of 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) and inactive ingredients including Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI), Stearic Acid, Coconut Fatty Acid, Sodium Isethionate, Water, Coco Glucoside, Cetearyl Alcohol & Ceteareth-20, and Lactic Acid.

This product is not intended for use on broken skin or for internal use. In the event of accidental ingestion, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Rinse with water if the solution comes into contact with the eyes.

BPO can bleach and stain clothing and towels, so caution is advised. It can also leave behind an orange discoloration on various surfaces. After each application, thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water, and rinse your face and body well before toweling off to prevent fabric staining.

The 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) in this product is effective for treating acne, whiteheads, blackheads, and clogged pores. BPO is an antiseptic that prevents the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria and dries the skin. Using this product can help slough off dead skin cells, making dark spots and scars appear less prominent.
